What year did ACS Z-Mags come out ??

i could be wrong but thought zeds came out about 1982, there is a web site somewhere that puts a date on everything...

If its the martinbike website your talking about mate I already checked there - he hasn't got any Z-Mags up there but he has the Z-Rims and he has listed them as 1980 - not that that's the be all and end all of it but he looks to be fairly acurate on most things  :-\
Anyone else any thoughts on a date of first manufacture for the mags ?

ACS was making six spoke zytel (plastic) wheels at the end of the 70s but they were known as Stoker mags. The first issue of BMXA I got hold of in May '80 had a Powerlite Thrasher test using those wheels, here's the ACS ad from the same issue
