I toyed with the idea of using an off-the-shelf metal filling compound, sanding it down to shape and then getting the rims proffesionaly sprayed in a chrome or metalic silver with a candy blue or red over or just a metalic blue or red straight on first, to try and give an anodised look but i don't know if this would work - any one else sprayed rims to try and achieve an anodised look ? ???
Redline:
There is a product called LabMetal which is a metal based filler that can be shaped once set.... and according to the instructions you can chrome plate it :daumenhoch:
