--- Quote from: telelogic on January 27, 2009, 12:01 PM --- I need to be able to have my coaster brake as an option and no new school frames allow me to use a big enough sprocket to go with the 16t on my coaster tuffs.

What about using a smaller coaster sprocket on the back, which will allow you to use a smaller chainwheel?
You can get coaster sprockets down to 12T, so 33/12 is about the same as 44/16.

are you saying that I could replace the cog I got with my new coaster tuffs with a 12t one? if so where can I get these?

Yup, if it takes the standard suntour type of sprocket like mr fruit has linked above.
I've a 12T and a 13T here on my sets. (Have been toying with running a set of coaster tuffs on my new FBM for a laugh)
And I got mine at flatland fuel.
Here's the link:

Pat'll sort you out. He's a good egg.

i just modded a odysee one to fit my suntour hub
just filed the ones i didnt need off
and shaped the other 3 to fit the hub
so i have old skool cassette hub with 12 tooth gearing

fingers crossed, I'll let y'all know.
telelogic:
