odyssey evolver problem
TEXASPETE:
Cheers for all the help and suggestions…
Just so you know.. I hadn’t painted them.. I don’t know why there was a difference between the tektro ones and these….
Right then, if anyone else gets the problem…. Here’s what you can do… or what I did..
Took the brakes off, and with a fine sand paper sanded the lugs and kept trying the brakes back on until they spun freely… only took a couple of minute each side.. greased up and now they work like a gooden… :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch:
Still feel slightly spongy.. I have them toeing in.. I think I’ve got them toeing in too much should you only have them toeing in very marginal?
Cheers again for you’re help
Pete

clean your chrome rims with neat fairy liquid on a rag then wipe off with clean rag make sure pads clean or you can sand the pad surface a little. a smooth brick works for me!!
your brake should work like a bull stood in front of you
Nana:
Make sure you have the silver spring in the correct side and the black in the other also i found the pads work better if you tilt them so they bite the whole rim looks odd but gives better braking :)
