crewe north regional 2008, crash?

hi i'm looking for a vid of me crashing at crewe north regional, i met someone today who said he saw footage on here? its the one where i broke my frame over jumping a double to flat?

is there a link i ve tried google etc... help appreciated

Twas the most amazing crash I've seen in ages!! 

Dubber's was nearly as good.  I think he fell off due to the shock of leading the OS race!!!

God   ,, I remember watching that from the top banking , right next to where Moley was filming

and thinking , that really didn't look good


Did you do your collarbone ?

Made me  loose all faith in alloy frames , I'd seen too many snap in the same place ( different brands ,, GT , SE )

There really can't be a worse place for a bike to snap, than shearing off at the headtube 

I think it was a Lance Armstrong quote saying once they're 4 to 6 years old the strength is limited

yeah i was in a bad way, collar bone, ribs, back etc... i' ve only just started riding properly again!

any ideas on trying to get the vid playing? only getting sound the windows media player opens and plays but only shows a graphic equaliser type thingy?! any ideas

It sounds like you have the wrong codec . If you look through moleys posts he has put a link up for a website that gives you the right ones. I will have a look and see if I can find the link.

found it just follow the instructions to update codecs, but dont hold me responsible if it fooks up

The story I heard Daves74 was...........

You missed the 1st Moto and Practice because you were late and that the 2nd Moto was the your first time on the track!

I think some chap said you were from the North East and you drove home otherwise there was no one to get you and your lad home!!

I'm glad your alright now fella!! 

Did you break your collarbone?   I've done that skiiing and it was really hard driving!! 

Dubbers crash in the OS 'A' final was a good'un.   They always are! 

I think Dubber made out of rubber!!

But when we watched yours it was pretty spectacular!!

If you watch Bof's races and Bof in particular then it didn't look a nice track to ride.

Bof wasn't manualing most doubles.  He mostly got airbourne and used his back wheel to catch the transition of the 2nd jump to make the double.

That track definitely needed to be toned down!!

Shame it cancelled this year!!

I saw a lad at school (I live in Crewe) on one of those GT's with a big fook off weld at the head tube - did you sell it for repair?

i was late but made the 1st moto, but the gate failed on my 2nd moto so i got a couple of sneaky laps practice in!! we drove down from leeds got stuck in traffic and got lost!

i spent the rest of the afternoon coming round in hospital and i was driven home by a mate there was no way i could! good vid though eh?

Jesus mate thats scary watching that frame snap  makes ya think about keeping an eye on ya frame and parts.

I know bill stupple changed his redline frame half way through season as his was creeking a bit(although it had taken some proper stick eh bill remember burnham big doubles and chesterfield doubles KA BOOM!)
