Park Tools chain tool problem

Stella Dave:
Not sure if this should be in here but,

I got a Park Tools CT-5 chain tool from Hellfrauds and my chain doesn't fit in it, are there different sizes of tools?
I just presumed they were all same. It says it's for Derailleur-equipped road and mountain bikes.

I would imagine that those type of chains are a fair bit thinner than a bmx ones, the derailleur type chains are for multi geared bikes so need to be thin to fit on to the rear cogs  :daumenhoch:

Yep!! Bill's right!!

Fat OS BMX chains are your problem!!  :(

NS shadow interlocks don't fit either, I've got an old one filed out for mine.

Try your local bike shop, they might have one that fits

Stella Dave:
cheers! Off to Hellfrauds to try change it
