Polishing Knight Spider?

Has anyone polished one of the Knight Spiders to a shiny finish?
I tried with polishing wheel and it did nowt!

mark 2:
A lot of the time with silver stuff it has a clear annodized coating on it, so you'll be polishing away like frig before you get anyway. If you've got some over cleaner at hand try that first to get to the bare metal.... ;)
