HARRY LEARY COLOUR 99.5 DONE LOADS OF PICS
superbikedan:
tbh the second from last pics looks really good,
last pic, top right looks the best, it's such a hard colour, more blue/black than black/blue
and the hardest part is even colour, that's the trick :)
neiljonarcus:
this is it all done ......massive thanks to kevin rettie for the lend of his frame he brought it down on the train from scotland to newcastle . his frame is in good shape . the paint is chipped and a tiny bit faded at the head tube . but the rest of the paint is perfect to match .....4 whole weeks of hair pulling and i think this is excelent paint match
stfc:
surely that is gonna scratch off even when laquered (or not) no problem at all with the slightest knock, if your 100% happy with the colour why dont you get it clear vinyl wrapped after to preserve your hard work??
neiljonarcus:
clear vinyl wrapped ;D ;D ;D ;D are you kidding me the joints would look mental

But isn't that how the Original Turbos were anyway? ;D We sold a few of those at our shop BITD and i always remember even brand new out of the box, when building them up for a customer they already had the odd chip or scratch here and there...
Great work on the Colour match Neil - its like the quest for the Holy Grail :daumenhoch:
