The E.T. Looks lovely in those pictures down by the lake. :4_17_5: What's the score with the seat - is it a lightning bolt, minus the bolts?
Did any of the locals recognise the bike from the movie or were they just giving you funny looks for playing with a kids bike :D
You should get yourself a chain splitter and take a link or two out of the chain - the rear wheel would look much better a little further up the dropout ;)

Very nice ;)

Seat, yes it is just like this one. I have attempted to recreate the publicity shot. Had to settle for sealed bearing hubs, a tange bb and black dc clips. The spec sheets show irc tyres with what looks like a comp2 tread pattern but the magazine publicity ad's clearly show a comp3 pattern. I had the ukai's re -annode and i ain't messing with them so the speed line will have to stay black :-\ ;)
No major funny looks but two old guys asked if the bike signified anything. I explained that it was marketed after the release of a famous film. While they were both closely scrutinising the bike they asked me which film :2funny: My mate and i just looked at each other. The fact it's plastered on the bike on 5 different decals is a bit of a givaway i would have thought :coolsmiley:
