Hi guys,

Here are my collection of complete and part builds...  Put a message in the welcome section, so i will link from there to here, as am planning to get the three primary builds completed in the coming weeks...

Here's a shot of bits that i have excluding the boxes of spares...

We have:

81 Mongoose with skyway Tuff 1's

Black goose imported from the USA 3 years ago, and sat waiting for me to get on it until two weeks ago..

Serial number CB1 689890

Stripped and powder coated black - decals on order
Every part stripped and polished with the dremmel and autosol
Original Mongoose stamped Chainring, headset, Bottom bracket, seat post clamp, messenger seat..
Ashtabula goose neck and crank
Yellow grips and pads (original) except gooseneck pad - I lost the original one along with the clamp, so had to replace both
Yellow SkyWay Tuff 1's with coaster brake
Only part i have not got sorted is the seat post, the odessey temporary post will do for now.

80 Mongoose with motomags

White goose imported from the USA 3 years ago, this is my summer ride...  Will be just as i had it in the 80's...

Serial number CJ0 946884

Motomags, Gold stem with Chrome bars, Tange headset, have red comp III's to fit along with red mongoose repro grips, and will get a red kashimax, (if i can find one...)  this frame is the 2nd from the bottom in the top picture...

Pics:

1981 Frame re-chromed

Chrome frame mid 81, non chatsworth model before they changed the rear drop outs, nice Chrome (might be for sale)  Will post as soon as i get my site supporter tag...

Serial number F128555

1979 Frame with ashtabula forks

1979 frame with the coaster brake tab, frame needs some work, recently sand blasted, has some nasty gauges out of the chainstays.. (might be for sale)  Will post as soon as i get my site supporter tag...

Serial number CG9 187847

And finally...

My 1987 Mongoose Decade

Just for the sake of it...

Just need to recon the crank and fit a longer front brake cable the rest is all done, Oh and some white/amber wall tyres...  to finish her off...  I'll get some updated photo's soon...

Thats about it...  Will get round to finishing the others off very soon... All of my bikes are riders, the way i see it, if i want any of them to sit and look pretty, as long as i have the bits, i can always strip them back down and rebuild them... time after time after time...  After all, isn't that the fun of it???
