dodger:
i have a couple of rims hanging around and the chrome has gone pretty tatty would like to strip them back and respray them but how would i remove all the chome first is there a special prosess for this or simply peel it off? :crazy2:
steve Beech TA:
I aint entirely sure, but if you wont to spray them then i would have thought you would only have to give them a good rubbing down and then use a decent primer first then spray. other peeps will prob know better. :daumenhoch:
meticulous:
better to completely strip them, get the prep wrong and the finish will look shite.... :daumenhoch:
RATTY:
I think to strip chrome you need to reverse the chroming process :daumenhoch:
