Total Noob - Ammaco Restro

Hey all im a bit of a noob thought id pic ya brains

i just got me an Ammaco this will be my first proper restro
iv played about with burners, mostly stuff Neil has done for me cheers buddy now im gona try and be a big boy  LOL

Here's a pic of the raw bike i sware it should be chrome any one know if they made it in coloured frames? it's got the origonal decals on it though
It's very hard to find info on this so thats what this post is all about

i beleve it's an Ammaco Team Champion from 1983

If you read the info panel to the left it looks like they came in original paint finishes of black,red or blue as well as the chrome finish - no white though  :-\ guess yours will be a custom job then  ;)

Can't really help much more than that mate cos it's all about mongoose for me.

kev (kdw712) and matt (swivel) are good for ammaco info though mate - sure they'll help you out if you PM them - kev (kdw712) also has a website with loads of various archived catalogue and magazine pics etc. you may find some stuff there too - here's the link : http://uk.geocities.com/kdw_712/
