Nick's New Bird !
Gashead:
I picked up this little bird around 18 months ago and have been working on it for a while ! The frame and forks came from Denmark courtesy of Allun aka Eskildsen, the frame had seen better days, still in it's ORIGINAL colour, however at some point had a seat post stuck well inside. A previous owner had attempted to remove by heating up the seat tube and made a bit of a mess.
Next job was to get her down to Sawzall for a rear drop out repair, now I didn't take any photo's but they were a bit chewed up and need some attention. And of course some attention was needed on the seat tube, however luckily Phill managed to work wonders but didn't need to replace.
Then time for some primer and careful precise detailing on the frame.
As I mentioned the frame was in it's original colour, thanks to Steve, Firebird we decided to run with that colour however trying to find a match was extremely tuff, in the end we found a Fiat colour that was a match. The day this frame came back to me, I was speechless, it was and is like glass, the job is just first class :4_17_5: Thank You Phill
Next up was a couple of refurb jobs on some parts - ie Bars and DX pedals
Then I collected up all the bits I needed from the loft ;) and a few bits off Jai :daumenhoch:
The rest as they say is history.......................
Massive thanks to, Eskildsen, Sawzall, Firebird, Del and Jai :4_17_5:
