To drill or not to drill

(1/2) > >>

erniemadden:
I am doing a cc replica and so if accurate have to drill my front MX for potts conversion.
It seems a shame to drill something that has lasted intact since the early eighties.
But if it makes it aunthentic than i feel I should.
What dya think, drill it or leave it?

Steve

mark 2:
Grinding it would be a little easier,  I'd imagine that drill would be slipping all over the place . It's only a brake caliper, do it, they're always for sale in abundance on here

erniemadden:
wasn't sure if I was committing a crime against bmx or not , but that is all the encouragement i needed thnks.
