NOS 1985 Tuffs Value ?? --PICTURES ADDED--
bobafett:
PICTURES ADDED AT THE BOTTOM :daumenhoch:
I have a mint NOS set of Red Tuffs circa 1985 (alloy rear hub and placcy front) they have never seen a dropout a brakepad or even a freewheel and are totally colour fast - no fade.
So I was wondering what they are worth - obviously both alloy would demand a higher premium but these are old school after all ( and the placcy front isn't one of these new jobbies with the date mold on 'em - it's a proper 80's one). I did some research which puts them at 1985 for this set-up.
So what are they worth ?
I'm not sure i'll use them now cos i have too many red builds and too many builds with tuffs - so i'm tentativley testing the water :-\
meticulous:
if they were both ally hubbed i would say about £200, they are a little less desirable so i would say up to £150ish, just my opinion but i could be out..... ;)
trade you with some spokes if you fancy....

Sam - thanks for the offer mate but if it's going to be a swap it would have to be for a set of pro-class wheels ;)
I was thinking around 150 quid region so cheers for that confirmation bud - any one interested or got a nice set of pro class to swap ?
I'll put some piccies up later :daumenhoch:
