The rims aren't sealed (a term used in anodising. After anodising them you dye them in which ever colour and to keep the colour in you have to seal them, most commonly in boiling water) just bad finishing! Try ptfe spray that will seal them for a while but wether you stop using the brakes is another thing. The other option is I will put them right for you!
Are the wheels like a matt finish?
If you need any help give me a shout
Paul

Hi Paul,
Yes the rims are like a 'matt' finish - can I do something myself or should I take them back to the anodisers?
thanks
Matt

Hello matt
There is not much you can do except for sending them back to the anodisers and asking for the rims to be chemically brightened or having them polished and then chemically brightened. What did you pay to get them done if you dont mind me asking?
Like i said if ya need any help give me a shout.
