A Beautiful piece of chrome plating

(1/5) > >>

scary_leary:
I wish I had a before pic because this stem woz f***ed
All the chrome had peeled off in large patches
+ it was scratched and scraped.

But look at it now

A lot of work goes in (coz its chrome over alloy)
1st reverse the chrome process to get it back too plain alloy.
Then very very carefully polished
(as its very easy to polish out the writing)..then replate

I had my turbo stem, seat clamp and chainring done
it looks soo much better than just polishing

Stodgy:
Ooooo...shiny...nice... :)

Where did you get it done?
