sneak preview of my new haro
graeme:
Ok, as ive just uploaded some pics i figured ill put some here.
More pics as i progress.
May as well use the tried and tested recent thread title too ;)
Bought the frame from another radster.
Chrome was shot so it was stripped and i painted it myself and used repro decals.
it will be ridden so im not being fussy as its gonna take some hits im sure!
Im not building it parts correct, just building it to ride.
Ive got most of the bits, just waiting for a couple more deliveries.
pickle:
Nice one! Look forward to seeing it built :daumenhoch:
graeme:
It will look reasonably right from a distance LOL
I think the forks would have been painted but as i had to loose the chrome back end i left the forks chrome.
I dont have the right bars, ill use a pair of tioga bars i have, the right bars for these seem pretty hard to locate and pretty expensive when you do!
graeme:
Ok, so its all nailed together.
Still waiting for some front axle location washers to arrive though.
Ive got some bars coming too.
Its in no way 'part correct' and its not built with all the finest of parts, just either what i had or what i could get cheap LOL
But, its rideable and thats what its intended for. This is going to get abused so no point using all the finest NOS parts i could find. I just wanted something to ride/learn on and wanted something 'old school'.
Along with the fact that i REALLY wanted a late master when i was a kid :)
Rides nice, just need final tweeking and tightening. I dont trust it at all yet though so just had a bit of a roll around.
pickle:
Looks blinding does that! Bet she rides well :daumenhoch:
