no, if he bid £80, but its still at £30, then the reserve must be over £80.

I thought this is correct^^^^^??

I bought a set of used white zeds in similar condition,chrome spokes, yellowing,no decals etc for £90 on here few months back, incl postage.

If the max bid of £80 was enough to break the reserve (for arguments sake a £75 reserve) then it would bid above that.

Otherwise your bid cant beat reserve unless someone else bids up to a price just below reserve.
