How do your identify the year for PK Ripper

and it's a loopy , so its pre 1985  , so the last 2 digits arent the year


I've had another before and you couldn't tell the year of that either ?

So why is it on some peoples descriptions of their bikes , it may say 1983 looptail Ripper  etc  :-\

I take it , it's just when they'e had it from new or they're just guessing   ::)

Is there any order to the numbers at all ??
