In terms of how long to do the sides I'd say roughly 4 hours a wheel.  Like I said I did it all by hand and started with the wrong (too fine) grade of sandpaper so it took me a lot longer but assuming you've got the right kit to begin with and the wheels are stripped about the 4 hour mark to get a really good finish.  Depends how industrious you are! (I'm not  :LolLolLolLol:)
