i just love the old gusset geese, they bring back so many memories of my early bmx days back in 1983 when there was plenty of these kicking about.this was never about a parts correct or killerbuild just about recreating a good old school bike and to keep me ticking over during the summer months.i sourced the frame from gaybay and added them to a set of forks i already had kicking about and then stripped my first build from last summer to pinch the crank, headset, stem, chain and seat clamp.the frames been rechromed(very badly, cheers south coast chrome!)the forks are in beautiful survivor condition, all the rest of the parts are nos or were before going on my first build so they are all mint.parts are as follows, 83 mongoose 2 frame and forks, early non knurled gt pro bars, sugino ct crank, shimano sx pedals,dc 1020 with shimano dx lever, kashi mx,suntour seat clamp, ukai shinesides, izumi chain and tioga comp 3's(silver blue label).ive got a set of black pro series pads on there way to me as im undecided on the current ones!
