Stuntmaster was around back then and we traded quite a bit of stuff with each other, Andy Mc did get unpainted DP freestylers for £2.50each, in the end we got bored of them as no one wanted them. we also got two DP freesyle minis. wish I kept those.

Back then as no one wanted most of the stuff prices were very low, so it was a hobby just for a few regular faces, if you could swap a part for somthing you needed you were happy, I sold a lot on ebay but for like £4.50 for a set of MKS pedals, never was going to make a fortune but getting the bikes built was more important. the first ever OLd School meet there was seven of us there racing plus another seven bringing bikes.

good days back then , now the hobby too serious and can`t spend crazy money on stuff that was bugger all back then as i remember back then buying a hutch stem of dingobmxer for 40 quid and thought christ  that way too much

I still have the Curtis Freestyler and the Rickman Freestyler....still NOS and never built.   :daumenhoch:

I think I gave you £80 for the Curtis and £60 for the Rickman...   :knuppel2:   :LolLolLolLol:

Picked up a PK Ripper frame with LG forks for a tenner and a complete TA for £25 back in the early days...

Oh yeh, and a very early (feb 84) non stamped GT Performer with tuffs etc for £50.

I suppose you could say the £250 I paid for my VDC pit bike was cheap too...
