I've finally "Painted my Masterpiece" - Redline Proline II

How long did the prep work take you, and what did you use to polish it up?
I have a couple of frames I am working on, but its taking forever.

Hey Shaun.... the prep work took a while to be honest mate as I don't really have the top end tools. Just used a polishing kit off ebay on my drill, plenty of emory cloth to flat down the dropouts and heaps of autosol. Takes a lot of time but the effort is worth it as the chroming process shows the tiniest of flaws and covers nothing. Just keep it in your mind that when you're polishing you want the metal to be as close to chrome looking as possible... any scratches etc will show up after plating so just take your time and the hard work will pay off :daumenhoch:

That's what I thought you might say.
Both the frames have some heavyish pitting, and its boring me shitless working on them.
No wonder it has taken me so long to get them done.
