18 inch powerlite seatpost Pics added now, removed using Diesel

Got 1 r they rare ? What era r they ? It is stamped with a P and has original sticker . But is a bit bashed from removal ::) This came on my latest project well and truely stuck fast all 9 1/2 inches of it , soaked it in Diesel for 5 days then cracked it and out it came  :daumenhoch: well happy with the result . Think I can repair most of the damage I did wrestling it out  ::) So could b rechromed  ???
