*** MRD Expert Project - FINISHED Pics on page 6 ***
Del:
As some of you know I managed to get hold of an MRD Expert F&F recently... anyway here begins another project.
Got it last week, chrome pretty much shot and defintely needed a re-chrome or powdered in white...
Frame as I got it:-
tempted to do white as I love white frames but I want this one like it was so a re-chrome it is... took it to my "local" chrome platers to de-chrome it first so I could do some of the polishing myself as they never get into all the awkward bits. Got it back yesterday:-
Set about flatting it off last night using various grades of wet 'n dry paper and spent another 4-5hours on it today, its getting there but loads more time is needed on it, I cant do anymore today as my fingers are red raw:-
Also picked up my 7X rims from the powdercoaters today and built up my wheels... my fingers are completely sore now!
I also made the decals for the frame but you all know what MRD decals look like!
Anyway... that's it for now... I'll post more as I get more done.
