Can anyone give me some info on what year this bike is I've been told it's an 82', in the catalogue it says it has the new DC tech 2 levers. What kind of bikes did Cycle Pro make in the early days were they considered any good?

Wow, with that parts list, that's gunna be some build  8)
You might struggle with a couple of them but I wish you all the best with it mate.
I know the Bonzai Pro was a quality Tange made frame with an Aero down-tube.
I think the x2 Greg Hill CP's were pretty decent bikes as well.
If you haven't been here already, this will be worth looking at: http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/cycle_pro/
That's about all I have. All the best with it :daumenhoch:

My first was a CyclePro in about '83ish from Geoff Barraclough's WheelWays shop. Must have been the base model, chrome & blue trim, Skyways, cobra grips and weighed a ton!!! Loved it.......
Good luck!!! :daumenhoch:

Tech2's came on a few 1982 bikes so the year sounds about right :)
Good luck with the cycle-pro snake bellies though :10_2_12:
There is a single cycle-pro snakebelly tyre on it's own in blue on the museum at the moment for $250 and that doesn't include international shipping
Would be a nice looking build if you find all the parts though - good luck :daumenhoch:
PS - see Del for decals ;)
