Sorry if this question has been asked and answered many times before. I’m thinking of buying a red and silver Shimano SX lever. Is the red body painted or ano? I might match it up to a tourney caliper which I think are ano, or am I wrong about that? I’ve got DX levers in black that look painted and some in blue that look ano. What’s the crack ???
Thanks

I always like the SX version as two tone.

SX levers are made of steel so will be painted.

Bang on. I forgot I had some SX levers threw in when I bought some calipers a while back. I dug them out and yes it’s paint because it’s flaking off all over. Cheers guys 👍🏼
