So myself, Shane Fugazi & Ste 83bus will be looking after the ALL NEW Mid School marquee.
This is a new additon to MK and will be round by the ramps backing onto the other tents... this way you won't have to look at our dirty rusty drab bikes while you polish each others nipples in the main arena :angel:
Getting your bike on the tent will be on a first come first serve basis and everyone with any mid school build is welcome.
Attitudes, however, are not welcome.

I'd never heard of mid school until I got that bike, is it the same as primary school?!
Also that Zima is useless as a walking frame, It keeps falling over when I try shuffling along to the post box with it :yahoo_silent:

Great news on the Mid School tent! Just to clarify, will the tent face on to the ramps? Or will it face into the general show area?

I think it's going to face the ramps Jon, I'm sure ed will be along soon, it's going to be great this year I can't wait. it was strange and wet in the helipad last year. At least the bikes will b dry and safe 👌

Sounds good (although it would be nice if the mid school tent was facing in with the others). Feels like we a bit of a side show facing the other way. Surely they could squeeze us it the right way around?

I guess you can open the back so it's open both sides? you'll get all the grip twisters and brake lever pullers walking through though ;D

Thats exactly what we are ... a side show ... a freak show... would we want it any other way? :D
I need to speak to admins more about placing but the idea was to get things moving round by the ramps more ... so the Mid school tent was going to be backing onto the other marquees facing the ramps ... maybe with 2 open sides ( front and side facing the track )
I don't think there will be room to get it in facing the same way as the others ... plus it also defeates the object of stimulating circulation ya getz mi

Don't get me wrong, I'm stoked there is an official mid school tent, but if it faces the ramps I think it will cut us off from the crowds, not bring them around to the ramps.
I don't think mid was ever a side show at MK. If you remember the Hoffman tent last time, that was a huge success and was right in the mix with everything else. It was great having Matt in there chatting to people, and it made mid school a part of the whole show.

I had in my head the layout from MK15 where there was a big marquee between the main area and the ramps ... so I was thinking it would have to back onto that ... but last years layout was different.
I've been talking to Nick and its going to be a case of getting the best fit on the day, but it won't be facing the ramps thats for sure :daumenhoch:
My choice for position would be to have it where the burger bar was last year and have it open at the front ( facing the main arena, and also at the side facing the ramps ... so it ticks all boxes ... then have the burgers where Jay's blue tent was last year facing it ... but ... as I say ... its a case of where things fit on the day to suit everyone as the Main S&S tent is bigger.
