Title: Re chroming help
Post by: catman79 on January 20, 2020, 10:42 AM
Hi all,
Sorry to ask the age old question but I’m looking to get my super goose frame and forks re chromed, I’ve contacted allenchrome who have said they are no longer undertaking this kind of work due to high production jobs. Anyone know who else I can use?

Thanks In advance

Cheers guys, I’ll give them a call, and idea what they charge for a frame and fork set?

Ask for John. It depends on the type of frameset itself (how difficult it is to prep), and on the condition of the frame beforehand (does it need stripping/how much pre polishing prep is needed). You’ll be looking at around £300, maybe more.
