July 21st
I have secured half price tickets for Pleasure Island Theme Park for RAD members to enjoy the park during the day.

The park closes at 5pm. We meet from 5pm at McCormacks Bar situated at the main gate of Pleasure Island
At 6pm we have a booze cruise along the seafront and around the boating lake utilising disused roads, footpaths and the promenade.
Obviously calling at a number of hostelries en-route :D :D

Other facilities available during the day are trails, skate bowl and race track. All run by GYPO. Here is their site. It's an awesome set up :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch:

I will be collecting numbers nearer the date for the tickets to Pleasure Island. You do NOT need to go to the park to join in this ride.

If you're not happy leaving your bikes in your car during the day I'll run a creche for them at the pub on site. Just bring a lock along and I'll stop any scrotes trying to have them away.

This has got to be the BEST day out great to meet so many new faces , at the time of this picture was taken there were 63 bikes and some had already gone , A big thanks goes out to Nick for sorting it , real shame there wasn't many Radsters as most of these were off Face Book

Me, Gaz Fenwick and our respective Julies (who are actually both called Claire) had to cycle back to New Waltham. Only 3 miles but considering Gaz couldn't stand up it made for interesting ride!
A massive thanks to all who turned up, there were some beautiful bikes on show and the weather was awesome.
Even got a flypast from a Sea King!
I hope the little lad who fell in the boating lake has dried out now!
