A big thanks goes to Spen for dropping the Lil Ripper i bought off him while on his travels the other week , had some quality time with my youngest this afternoon so we set on with going through the Ripper pumping tyres up , setting brakes etc
Then it was out side to see how he felt on a bigger bike , think i was more worried than he was :LolLolLolLol:
Anyway heres a pic of him not 5 minutes after first getting on it  :smitten:

Had to sell it - damn thing was too big for me...... :LolLolLolLol:
i'm glad it's gone to a good home - my little girl has an Early Rider Belter in it's place. Not anywhere as retro but she's just riden it round the garden for the first time (without the pedals on it) so it's only a matter of time before she leaves her balance bike :smitten:

Had a similar moment while Rad was offline. My little boy has a wtp seed, which he's shown zero interest in for 2 odd years, preferring blooming gameboys, wii's, ipods etc. He's tried riding numerous times with no progress, telling mum he didn't want to learn, did care for it and wasn't in to bikes, as you can imagine I was gutted. Anyway we persevered telling him it was fine not to like it but like swimming etc he had to at least learn to ride. So I popped his cranks/pedals/chain off for a week, got him to go around the garden for 10 mins a night to get his balance, popped the cranks etc back on at the end of the wk and hey presto, 10 minutes later one little lad cruising around & two proud parents. He now loves it and is asking for a 20", super happy dad now thinking about a United RNJR.
Enjoy it Daz, let him rip the pipe, looks like he's ready ;)

I bought 2 of these lil rips in 2009. My kids have had loads of use out of them, they've been worth every penny!
When I got them the kids were 4 and 5. I inverted the stems and then in my narrowmindedness I cut the bars narrower :idiot2:
I've just got around to changing the bars on 1 of them and swapping the stem. My eldest is 9 now and still ripping on it and loves it.
