Title: HARRY LEARY TURBO
Post by: rad1972 on May 18, 2011, 12:21 AM: Been trying to get hold of one for 3 years... anyone know someone who knows someone who may know someone??? ..... just completed the 1984 Haro master... Its awesome but its all about the harry.... must have one..

Harry Leary " the man himself " only used SR 464 pedals Custom M's not the SR 134's (standard issue) ( there's an advert in BMX action bike too :daumenhoch:)

Double bend Dia compe levers ( not single 45 degree that came on standard Leary's ) with black lever covers

Weinmann adjusters on the 890's

Mine now is to this spec ,, the way harry rode it and IMHO it's even nicer :)

I want toys and I want lots of them now. love my haro master but desperately want a Harry leary. will check out some of the guys you mentioned... appreciated. Also just bought an early 80's supergoose (not sure what year) from my local bike shop.. I dont think they actually new what it was.... even had a RL flight crank, £210 BARGAIN. Needs some TLC but its gona look the business

I don't think it's on eGay yet but not 100% sure. This one is 100% NOS and has never been ridden just wheeled along to various shows!

a survivor with everytthing correct down to the tyres :daumenhoch: a resto'ed one and a mk2 small gusset too 8)

the 1 from oz is not 100% nos and to be fair to the guy selling it he does state what is nos and what is not in the add on ozbmx and the bmxmuseum, from memory it was bought as a frame and forks from a guy in the states, i think jeff hainy had it at 1 point then went to his brother who sold bits from it, then a guy called juan or something had it, this is only from memory which ain't what it used to be lol

i've got an early pre drop mod may 82, a later 82 with mod, 2 83's and a nos 84 small gussett f&f. 3 are built 2 are in the process :)
