I am quite big in to the VW seane, allway see lost of BMX's Owned by dubber's, mite be good idea for a VW owners bmx gathering may be????

Now I have a Mk4 Golf 4motion - cheap and fast!

I have a T30 Transporter Sportline and hoping to get a Splitty for next summer, I also have a few nice bikes unlike that Plank Pooch who only has a fake PK Krapper as his wife made him sell his Hutch to me.
Scorcher Mick on here has got the 1st UK Sand Scorcher and some cool bikes too.

Just got the new golf R after having my 03 r32 from new . I've got about 50 collector models all over my house and I've been the BUGJAM the last 10 years . :daumenhoch:

Yeah, we've got a modded 06 plate new beetle cabriolet in black, lowered with some large chrome wheels. Also a member of evvo.co.uk (new beetle owners club). It was the bvf in malvern this year that eventually pushed me over the edge and back into the BMX world... ;D.

Had all kinds of Bugs, my last one was a 66 with a huge motor, all singing n dancing 48ida fire breather. was great fun to drive "in the dry". Also had a 550 spyder which was amazing. Nothing as of yet but looking at getting a Ghia, a few shabby looking bikes also.

well got 5 bikes between me and the misses and my boy.. vw's 1972 ragtop bay, misses got a 1970 patina buy on gas burners.. yep saw new wave and the bmx's was on display more or less right next to them,,,,,,,,,, i also run and am involved with a few vw shows, mite need to start looking in to maybe a BMX/VW DAY SHOW???????????? TRADERS, RAMPS, OFFROAD CORSE, SHOW AND SHINE....

now have audi (company car) so had to sell the GTI - had a couple of golfs after the minis of my youth :smitten:
if I could just get a place with a garage would love to get myself a karmann ghia but that's probably a few years off still

Got a few GT bmx`s and had a 57 slammed beetle in the 80`s,a 72 bay window bus which i killed in France the day Princess Di died,an 89 Jetta and now i have a lowered and converted 95 T4.

was into MK2 golfs for a while, had a couple fiddled-with gti's - lowered, with alloys etc.
then moved on to an an old 20valve Audi coupe quattro - amazing car!!!
engine ended up knakered, though, so i've got a mk4 golf tdi (and a big german motorbike).

not exactly a dubber anymore but was hardcore for years!had 4 mk1 gtis,mk2 16v,2 mk 2 jetta gtis,mk1 scirroco storm,oh and a Bora 1.8 t!got a purple bug 1302 im selling at mo,lovely but not me.VWs are fantastic cars but they dont make rwd cars anymore and ive lost interest in fwd forever!ive had nissans mostly for last few years,500 bhp R32 skyline gtr,mazda mx5(fookin ace!)got a 300bhp 180sx drifter now!oh and half a BMX!P.S deano that golf looks sexual!

Only got 1 bike and 1 FnF at the mo,

4wd is the way.
for the road only 4wd is brilliant,unfortunately no good for drifting.If i had my choice id have a 4wd(maybe a RS4 audi?!or evo?) for the road and my drift car for drifting but unfortunately i have to put up with all the compromises of the drift car on a daily basis!GERMAN OR JAP,THE REST ARE CRAP!

the tosser got worse over the 4 years i was on there, then when people like noggin left it was clear something was up!
glad yr still fiddling with 20v's, i don't really miss mine, my motorbike fills the gap!

grand! nogin was great when my engine was on it's last legs, offered good help on nogsports, it was just a shame i'm so far away - i couldn't pop it round for a fix-up.

im not really into vw.s but ive just bought this as a cheap runabout/means to an end
and i like the euro look done on these when lowered and wide 13s on it
mines a 1.4 auto openair in silver with 60k on the clock.........actually it is quite nice to drive as i only use it to go to work and back

I'm guessing ya talking about the curb feelers Griff? An American idea from way back, fixed to the chassis/wheel arch lip etc and makes one hell of a noise thro the car when they hit the curb before ya wheel does to save ya scuffing the whitewall tyres. Does that make sense?? ??? Confused myself!! :uglystupid2: Still don't understand wot I've typed there!!! ??? Simply put, they act as a noisy warning you're close to the kerb! If ya look hard you can see one just behind my front wheel. :daumenhoch:

Griff, ya killing me here!!! ;D The search lamp fixes to the inside of the windscreen and the beam can be rotated any direction. Perfect for 'doggin'!! :police: The box is simply a 'bin' with weights either side so it sits on the gearbox tunnel. :daumenhoch:

done at a local painter and he totally fcukled them up , gods honest truth she'd heard about me and when
she phoned she was in tears telling me the story about how she wanted these wheels for her bug
and how her painter had fooked them up, well i repainted them and took step by step pics

cheers yeah they came out really sweet but i can't remember how much i charged, one thing i do

yep tricky work indeed it took me a few weeks to do 4 wheels myself but they needed a lot of prep work and i was doing all by hand
The detailing is sweet hence asking as i have a few sets of these and various other old n rare dub wheels i need to get sorted but no time to do it
suppose you would really need to see them to run a price on the work

no pictures yet will do soon , between my wife and i we have owned 70 bug,60 bug, 67 sand scorcher then changed it to the mooneye bug,another 67,mk 1 polo,77 slammed panelvan,mk2 passat estate,91 mk2 oak green ,mk3 vr6 highline,type 25 slammed on rs4 wheels, 84 type 25 camper, 99 passat 20 vt, so yes we like vw ;D
double feature too :4_17_5:.dont know which one i like best.baja,or the custom bug.ive had my bug looking the same for 20+ years,but you changed yours in 1 year?? ;D.cool stuff mate
