Title: whose unloading their collection on eBay?
Post by: 20to26 on November 15, 2011, 09:40 AM
I guess most of you have seen one particular seller unloading a smorgasbord of framesets on eBay over the last few weeks - I was just wondering if that person was on radbmx?

The Hutch Judge sold for £990... :buck2: - I was wondering if it would crack a grand.

ok thanks Wildon.

the®uler just do a search.

I don't want this to degenerate into a slinging match based on what I've read I was just curious. The sellers collection is nothing short of massive and I'm glad I picked up a F&F I've been after since the start of this 'memory trip'. It must be difficult to build up a large collection then sell it off.

I did a straight search for Subwax, and found a thread with disgruntled buyers.
But I think the bottom line is he didn't get on with one of the site owners.

Neil sent this to me on rewind and asked me to post it up here

quote]Hi mate,

Can you pls do my a favour and post this, from me, in a thread on Rad about my ebay sales:

"Hi,

I am not trying to be unfriendly at all, but I get all manner of silly questions, like "I'll give you 40 quid for the 401 cranks" and "Will you take 250 for a haro gen 1 in excellent condition". It kind of gets a bit much. Also the fact that some people can clearly not read my description regarding offers. So if you plan to lowball me, which in my experience is usually the case, you cant really expect me to be full of the joys of spring.

I dont mean to be rude, and apologise if thats how it sounds. It just gets a bit silly sometimes, where people expect me to give away parts I paid a premium for. I am sure it would get on your nerves too."

Appreciate it.

Neils weird he can be a cantankerous odious bâstard when he's on the computer but he's a diamond when you meet him.

He won't knock you that's for sure.

Ha ha Neil can be a nasty footer behind a keyboard, yes he has a point of view on most things

Met him once or twice , bought some wheels off him about 6 or 7 years ago for the ET Kuwahara
Expecting the worse when I pulled up,  but what a thoroughly nice and very knowledgeable fella
