Just watched these last night. Hilariously George has exactly the same stance on old bikes as I do, lol.
I spoke with George on the phone in the late 90s. He made some parts for me (dropout savers and 50p lock nuts for my Ripper). Always a very approachable guy and would make you anything you needed to get your bike going again. Top bloke !

the good old days of me and the leeds crew popping down to shef, to buy stuff off george and ride the city center/bowl hill jumps 8) this was before he even had a proper office/premise, you went to his house and even got a cup of tea/coffee ;)
little known fact...
"BIG-DAVE (the juggler) was the first guy to do full HOP-BARSPINS in the uk, and maybe the world in the late 80s he was a beast"
