I suppose it was going to happen at some point!
I took delivery of another GT frame set and was wondering what to do with it. On the face of it, it looked like a fairly sound frame but when Dan stripped it, it suddenly got bad!

After a great deal of fettling in Dagenham's own A-Team shed it was ready for colour. I'd taken delivery of some 86 World Tour decals that I was going to use on one of my builds buy they came pink rather than magenta background. So the decision was made. Mrs S G was going to have her own GT!

With some old Daniel magic it had to be painted rather than powdered to protect the work done to the frame.

White F&F with pink components was the order of the day

So those bits that weren't factory pink were made so

Then came the wheels. I had white hubs but no rims! I found some stripped Araya 7c rims on ebay and sent them off too.

Some NOS pink Panaracers from Senzo and we were on our way

Then the build took an hour or so.
