This is my cutom made 1980 Cook Bros 24 inch cruiser. It was made from two broken/abused Cook Bros 20 inch frames combined to make one solid rider. I was looking for something that would fit me better then my other 20 inch bikes and Im very satisfied with the end result, it handles like a dream! It has Cook Bros cranks, stem, seatclamp, hubs, bb and sprocket also. Hope you guys like it, Claude

My sons Falcon Pro Epsilon 1984 cruiser.
It won't win any awards but for sheer hard graft from a thirteen year old who never moaned once about it or got bored deserves it's name in lights i think.

Here's my now finished Raleigh Ultra Burner.
With the exception of the brake calipers and tyres it's all original, although some of the anno'd parts have been worked on. Even the grips are totally original as well. I do have the original brakes as well though but fancied a set of Gold MX1000's.

Loving the darrell young. Know what you mean about pedals tho... wanted some myself but victors had to suffice. you could just get any interesting nos red pedals, the used dx's just take the edge off. Bike of the year so far for me otherwise, well done.

whilst everone pulls themselves off over it :LolLolLolLol:
-
Clean build that Torker !! :smitten: :smitten:
Any details on it ? Resto ? Parts list ?
-
i will speak for him, its a biagio re-chrome, and he also put it all together with nos bits, twin pinch flites and 901's maybe not to everones bag, but look so much better than a one piece and 880's, think it has a black suntour stem with torker bars, everthing else is obvious, whats more he is the original owner from new, bought from suntal cycles in oldham... ;)
-
Good Torker. Nice bike, nice style, superbly clean. Would take reflectors out of pedals tho, :) :)

That National Pro is lovely, really, really clean looking. I love bikes that look fast when they are sat still. It could do with a brake cable though ;)
Are those hubs Campagnolo's or Sanshin (Sunshine)? I have a set of NOS Sanshin's on my DeCoster (radially laced also). Are they Profiles or Johnny Chopper cranks?
Give us a parts run down.
-
yes mate,JC,s crank....70,s sunshine hubs..hutch bars,stem,pedals...no cable yet..who wants to stop!!!..

that is lushhhhhhh mate

Ade :crazy2:

Stunning PR stunning. Want it :smitten:
-
that is sweeeet! :4_17_5:
nice national pro, is it the standard?
noticed the head tube sticker is different to normal one, where did you get those from?
-
Hi Andy
yes it is a standard..
i have the rectangle/square headtube sticker on its way...the oval sticker is off an original sheet but not to my liking...looks good but not ACE..
i am 6ft and even as a standard frame, its not to small..think the hutch stem gives me some extra reach..i had everything rechromed, even the axles on the hubs..
just need a black terry cable, and i will be super happy..
-
was gonna put my National pro up but seeing yours i aint gonna bother!
:'(
both bikes ace however! :daumenhoch:
