Bought this today cheep for a few of the parts and just wondered if the frame and forks were anything worth hanging onto as well. It has what looks like a reversed 'C' in the frame number but could be a mis stamp. Ive read a few articles about those.
Heres some pics of dropouts, and gusset just in case anyone recognizes it.
Cheers :daumenhoch:

MCS style rear drop outs, but I think its a pos akisu
-
Schwinn I reckon or maybe a Quicksilver, leaning towards Schwinn though. Serial number looks more likely to be a dodgy 0 rather than a reversed C ;).
-
The backwards C was an Akisu trait. :daumenhoch:

It's a "KHS - Duster 200" I bought a complete survivor one off Jai "SE-BMXER" at MK this year as i wanted the wheels & tyres and caliper off it -
sold the frame & forks and bits to Jonathon "NORTY40" for a tenner as he said the kids could use it :LolLolLolLol:
I'll get him to post a piccy up of his - but that's deffo what it is - looks like you may still have the original KHS fork decals on there ?

I will sort some pics out as soon as I can :daumenhoch:
The dropouts /gusset are the same and if I am not mistaken without pulling the F/F out of the garage the rear brake bridge is like a box section :-\ ??? Think mine was badged as a KHS Duster 300 :D

Yep, cheers! ;)
You guys are right on the mark, KHS decals on the forks, box brake bridge, and the bloody weight of it!
What would one do with such an f+f now though, is it worth restoring, selling, or dare I say on this site, scrapping? :LolLolLolLol:
