On another note, you did not need to say that it was a Performer that had bent forks.
Why do you think Performer forks are rare?
Yup, cos they are all as bent as Barrymore skinny dipping with Winton
(Pete, I know your knocking one out at the thought of Barrymore, Winton and a GT, so stop it now you sick fook)
-
doesn't it depend on which way the forks are bent?
-
not if you spin the bars 180

this reminds me of a ukbfa comp from bitd. i was chatting to carlo and a young fan came up to him asking for his autograph. he asked if that was carlo's bike, pointing to mark noble's dream machine which happened to be right by us.... carlo said yes it was and he could have a go on it if he wanted....... the kid was over the moon...... carlo told him it was a special strong bike and was unbreakable..... he then told the kid to take it outside and ride it and crash it into a wall as hard as he could..... this kid then took mark noble's bike and kept on riding it into walls....absolutely trashed it...... was funny as fook..... don't know if mark ever found out how it really happened.....
