Has anyone else been able to get an attachment to work recently?
All I get is ...
An Error Has Occurred!
Your attachment couldn't be saved. This might happen because it took too long to upload or the file is bigger than the server will allow.
Please consult your server administrator for more information.
... its a 410kb JPG
-
I'm still fine with jpg files
Can't get JPEG or other formats to upload though (but they never have)
-
I just got the very same error.
-
Another day, still trying to post the same message with attachments i was yesterday. Not working.
-
today's test - not working :(
-
same here .. It worked the other day .
-
4 days now.... still trying to post my original thread reply. Still not working. Tried different browsers today in case that helps.... Arseflakes.
-
I'm getting this on everything I try to upload, which means unless I mess around taking ages manually typing in [img] links with imageshack I can't upload anything. Stuff like this will mean less people on here and more people using the Facebook based Bmx pages.
-
Still the same a week later.... the 4 files i am trying to upload are 130KB TOTAL in size, so definitely not too large as the error message that pops up says.
Something has shat itself somewhere. I've got my post saved elsewhere ready to chuck on the site as and when it is fixed. Can understand why there aren't too many BOTM entries though.....

The tech guy has been poking around trying out a better format of uploading to the forum, maybe he's tweaked something accidentally
-
I can't even upload an image to change my avatar now!
-
-
Surely someone can sort this out, every other forum I'm on let's me ad pics in seconds.
-
Sorry I'm on the case now, should be fixed soon
-
Should be ok now

New attachment upload mod installed, makes it a bit easier to upload pics

Quick test.
-
Dead good. Top job fellas! :slayer:
-
I seem to have a sizeing issue :-\
It's reassuringly nice to be classed as 'too large' for a change but how do I adjust picture size using iPhone/iPad ??
-
Same here
-
Same too... joff.... :2funny:
-
Just a thought fellas... try taking a screen grab of your photographs when displayed on your iPhone or iPad screens. Press the on/off button at exactly the same time as the round button on the front face. It will kind of click-flash and duplicate your photo. Then try uploading the smaller screen-grab version. Might work - dunno ???

Test
-
One more test...
-
I've tried uploading a few different pics and it allows some and not others but there doesn't seem to be any way of checking which is gonna work before picking it :-\ (but Martin's screenshot method seems to work)
-
you can also download an iPhone app to shrink your pictures apparently..

Try connecting your photocopier to it and put the images in there :daumenhoch:

I just tried to upload my low resolution profile avatar but it doesn't work, I'm stuck as Bono! :LolLolLolLol:
Worked fine when I joined a few days ago.
Also tried to do a new post earlier but pics wouldn't show up and preview not working.

Would it be TOO MUCH to ask that I can just upload pics via the attachment facility and not have to resize them??? SURELY it wouldn't be too hard?? is it just a case of 'need more money' as usual? Or is there another reason? It really is killing my enjoyment of the forum at the minute....It was aggro enough to have to do it via Photobucket before, now that is no longer an option I am fooked! I am not the best with computers, just need an easy way to upload pics....

Testing a patch on the test forum but it’s being a pain in the arse at the mo

After photobucket got unusable I went over to this site:
https://postimages.org/
If you are used to photobucket this may work fine for you Damo :daumenhoch:

I knew it could be an interim solution ::)

Will this ever be sorted , or is this as good as it gets?
So frustrating to post anything🙁

Is the problem that RADBMX can't host images due to space restrictions?
Hosting with unlimited space and bandwidth is pretty affordable these days:
