I've just been reading an interview with Steve G. from Freestyle Mag Aug. 88He worked for rickman aswell
Aged 17 Steve had just got onto the Haro team ... but one of his first sponsors was Brian Curtis ... this came about as Steve's dad made frames for Curtis ... before he went on to build the Zima's with Steve.

Have you seen Steve and his dad's other company?
It was called G bikes I think he made some mtb jump bike frames
Check the drop outs wonder where that idea come from lol
My phone is currently sporting a fetching cracked screen but I think that is him, at Radlands? I'll have a better look on a laptop later.
From what I can see it looks like they're running a rear caliper brake, are you thinking it may be that Zima light you've got?

Jim Burgess was found dead the weekend just gone, apparent suicide.
Here is my one serial m1058
Slidey seatpost and front and rear cantilever mounts
I'm on the list of owners and I still have number 57 - Bought it from Steve and his dad. I remember visiting their workshop with my dad to order it, very cool to spec it how i wanted it. It's still original chrome, but rusty. Unsure to rechrome or keep original. Mine is a sliding seat post version. It's all in bits but have all my original parts including SuperPro rims with G-Sport hubs. Love it.
Here's some pics of my Zima, number 57. Hope you like...That's sweet, dying to be ridden again
I now own the above bike. JD-007 "W". Early slidey seatpost version.[attachment=1]
