Well i dunno, Renthal stuff was made in England so it could be ;)
-
all the renthals i've seen have a straight bolt on cross bar
not heard them making V bars
-
Thanks.
They are very well made, that's what i noticed first thing i got them.
-
Renthal never made bars like that.
-
Cheers,
any idea what they might be then?
-
No, sorry. But the shop i worked in which stocked Renthals had the rep in every other week for 3 years and the only Renthals I ever saw were braced or for minis unbraced. Never saw any with welded crossbars.
Maybe they just some generic bars, we had loads of stuff from various suppliers like Landar,Chang Star and the like which was the budget end of the range, although looking at those bars GB made, i wouldnt have thought it was from them as those 2 i mention were Asian import stuff... ???
-
ok just seen the pic of the whole bars itself which i didnt see last night, they are deffo not Renthal ;)
-
Thank you for the replies. Seems very interesting. Wish i knew more of British made parts & brands in eneral. Renthal was just my guess that came to mind first. The clamp are is smooth, no knurling and they have quite a bit of back sweep. Also the weld are very clean, so are the bends.
Cheers
