My dad was talking about a bmx that he had called a GTX 2000 or something similar.
He said he broke his by jumping down a street and snapping the stem off.
Does anyone have or have heard of one of these???

Was it a Giant?

Giant did a GMX 250

I think it was probably a ' BMX 2000' by the sounds of it....cheap catalogue bike, my mate had one metallic red with yellow pads :daumenhoch:

There were a few kids round our way who had GX2000's back in the early 80's.
I remember them being silver (maybe even chrome?) and having a coaster brake, but that's about all.

Bloody hell, years ago my Mum & Dad tried to palm one of them off on me when I was mithering for my dp. Someone they knew dropped it off inthe box for me to have a look at. The pads had plastic clips & it was really shitty. My Mum & Dad were really pissed off that I woudn't have the £30 off the back of a lorry bike ;D.
I might have had it if it was about £100 just to piss them off. The seller can shove it up his arse for £750! :daumenhoch:
