Title: MK or Hillingdon for O/S Racing
Post by: Dan73 on October 07, 2010, 01:14 PM
After getting the bug to do a couple of builds, the inevitable has happened, and I'm itching to make a total tw*t of myself on a race track again. This will be exactly 26 years after the last time, and I was shiite then!

I live about the same distance from MK and Hillingdon, and I wondered if anyone had any advice on which is the best for an old school idiot on a mid school cruiser to turn up and have a go?

Much appreciated.

Dan

Perhaps we should arrange a 'Rad Old School & Novice Race Event' at MK - bit of a one off !

Also might 'get you and others back in the saddle' !

Get yourself up to Preston on the 17th.

Plenty of hotels etc, etc.

Plus plenty of OS racing lunacy!!  :D

Thanks fella's

Gashead - let's do it mate! Sounds a great idea.

Maybe before it gets too cold?

In the meantime, I'll drop MK a line and see when the practices are on.  Is there anyone that goes regular? I've got this nightmare about turning up and it all being 10 year olds who think a perv's turned up with a bmx instead of a puppy!

If I knew there were some other Old Skooler's knocking about it would be great.

Cheers

Dan
