Title: mid school theRuler bikes
Post by: theRuler on August 10, 2006, 03:11 PM
here's a mid nineties KHE catweasle that i got powdered in white
just built it up ready for a mate to ride at southsea.

the catweasle was an awesome bike. designed by albert retey and first made in 92 it was one of the bikes to have for flat / miniramp. super beefy tubes, 6mm drops, short angles, ad lugs in the right place, sweetness

this particular frame was chromed, but super rusty. powdered straight over it, no messin

here's some that i will build up later

96 dragonfly double dynamite
full chromo, weighty beast of a frame. fat twin toptubes and forged dropouts that are 10mm thick at the thickest point!
micheal steingraber used to ride one of these for flat. saw him piss on everyone on one of these at 96 KOC

99 dyno vfr frame n forks
this was just one of those ebay bargains. not a bad frameset though. oval tubed stays!

1991 bully bashguard frame and forks
Designed by RL Osbourne and made by redline. and very similar in dimensions to his redline bike too.
this frame is real 90's chic. the welds have been beefed up, its battered and covered in stickers.
takes you back to a time where the tricks were exceeding the bike's capabilities! this one survived.
my brother used to ride one in 1996. his cracked where the seatstays met the toptube. this red one has been beefed up considerably there, with what can only have been a stick welder. great days!
