Title: pk ripper update( finished at last )

frame no is pk61329or 61828 cant read it prop due to scratches
ok ive just got me ripper today and the dropouts are damaged
and the seat clamp bit is missing wot im after is picts of both and sizes if poss please plus ive gotta remove about 20 layers of paint first tho lol
plus they have drilled a hole in the tube to hold the seat pole

 updated picts as its now almost stripped
turns out ita a wannabe flute with all the holes in the seat tube
got all the dimensions of pkradman so cheers mate
to make matters worse there was a near perfect looptail being polished
at me mates place today :cry:
thers no signs of cracks or rewelds so all's good

ok heres more at 730 this morn i got a parcel from donker
it was me new seat tube he had made me
so i arrived at work at 915 and dropped it of to me mate to get welded in
was chating to me mate when he comes over 30 mins later with this all done lol

great cheers bill money is in me hiding place lol
dropped it of today to be powder coated
to many scratches for it to be polished
just need a gold headset now so i can build it up

ok cheers but i fancied a baby blue one as some of the scratches were realy deep
so powder should hide most of it
plus i didnt fink polished with gold bits would look right

ok nearly finished just need a seat clamp in gold a brake cable and me stickers
oh and a chain lol thanks to donker again for me seat tube
if any one needs one doing contact him he takes parts as payment aswell
so saves ya cash lol
oh and still cant stop grinning  ;D ;D ;D

that looks fantastic, very nice, and even the mrs said it was an excellent colour  :o but thats probably becouse its similar to the silly priced fridge freezer shes bought!

Aluminium seat post tube available: (or any other tubing in aluminium)
example:
PK Ripper as exquisitely styled above by lazychubs
£30 + p&p to original SE Racing 6061 alluminium t6 spec.
£25 + p&p to a stronger 7000 series spec.


Also available: blasting for paint removing, gives an even surface finish for polish/show paint etc.. (example: Stuntmaster's Raci Inc.)

yeah sorry for got to say that super dan of here did the lovely paint job
powderd 3 times and hand carved between each coat to get it perfect for me
so its nice and smooth .so if any one needs bits powder coated

hes based in dagenham just up the rd to me house lol
he charged me a bit more cos of the amountof work he had to do

Like that lots! Its great to see someone rescue a frame/bike from the scrap heap and restore it back to its original glory. If you have the skill and know how to do this, you should. Im sure most people (including myself) weigh up the trouble of the repair, paint, sourcing decals and the time spent restoring and think, might as well just buy one thats already done. Just my view but what a great turn around, well done mate!

how did you danage the powder like that?!?!
When i used to do powder coating, the first one of the line (whatever it was, say a chair frame) we used to beat it with a hammer, proper smash shite out of it.
If it chipped (at all) then something wasnt set up right.

well you see wot i did was try and fit the clamp which was slightly to small
and it had a couple of layers theres aswel and it just fell off
lol .where did u work the as i worked a apex metal finishers

me too, danes road yeah? I was there bout 10 years ago, started as a finisher, then did various plating, then chroming and powder coating. Ended up as trainee maintenance engineer, then quit!
Used to spend alot of time sunbathing on the roof ;D
