:) I have noticed that most allloy frames are either 7005 or 6061,please can someone elaborate on the difference? From experience I feel that 7005 frames seem to have a lot more rear end flex than those made from 6061.Is this true,or just me???
Thanks,
James

i find alli frames very stiff and ive had 7005 and 6061 much stiffer than steel , good for bmx frames , but not as strong as steel ,

I think 6000 series alloys have to be heat treated and 7000 series dont, hense the difference
