Post by: 1984haro on October 19, 2008, 06:24 PM
I have some white alloy hubbed tuff 2's wich i wanna restore, Does anyone know if there is a way of removing the hubs? one of them has a crack in and i want to get it welded, plus i wouldn't mind bleaching them, but it will eat into the hubs, as i foundout from a pair currently on ebay for sale! If anyone can help i would be greatfull!

Yes the bleach will eat into the alloy hubs as I found out  :'( so cover them with grease of something, or even better remove them, but then you will have to bolt them back in which will devalue them  :(
