Title: POWDERCOAT REMOVAL.

right then i bought a stem off big rhys for my streetbeat that i wanted to stripe and polish up.well i've had it in nitromors now for 2 hours and it aint touched it. im thinking its powder coat. whats the best way to get this off if the paint stripper wont touch it.this stem has been a nightmare all round.first the bolts would'nt tighten.then it chewed the threads up. now this. HELP. i wont be defeted  :santa_afro:.

its prob anodized dordy as nitromors
should take powder off as i did
a frame powderd then stripped it

i think its ceramic coated this thing rhys  :LolLolLolLol:.
what about a blow touch. or will that kill it.

Take it to the coaters and they can remove it by putting it in the oven at a very high temp, so they informed me?  :santa_undecided:

It usually comes off with stripper, but failing that. Soak a rag with celly thinners, wrap around the stem and place in a sealed bag. Leave for an hour, and the powder will just wire brush off. Ad

make sure you havent got your nitromors tin mixed up with that tin of pork pie jelly
